A Day in the Life

School begins each day with our morning assembly in the school gym.   

Students, teachers and often times, parents, gather to pray, celebrate birthdays and other achievements.

The academic day begins after assembly and depending on the day of the week students may have Mandarin, Physical Education, Cooking, Art, or Music in addition to their core academic subjects.

Community groups such as the San Francisco Opera Guild and the Lawrence Hall of Science provide special assemblies annually. 

Somedays the curriculum expands outside the school grounds as a class may visit the Exploratorium, The Academy of Science, NASA  or one of the many other cultural or historic sites which the Bay Area offers.
