Financial assistance to families attending Good Shepherd School is available through three different sources.
The BASIC Fund is an independent private voucher program available to students entering a private school for the first time. Applications are available on their website www.basicfund.org. Families apply directly to the BASIC Fund. Deadline for initial application is generally in March.
Archdiocesan Family Grants are scholarships awarded by the Department of Catholic Schools to students residing within the Archdiocese of San Francisco (San Mateo, San Francisco, and Marin Counties) and attending Catholic school within the archdiocese. To apply for a Family Grant, parents must complete the TADS Form which can be found at http://www.mytads.com/. The application deadline is April 15.
Good Shepherd School scholarships are awarded directly by the school. To apply families must also complete the TADS application. These grants are primarily reserved for those families who do not receive the BASIC Scholarship or the Family Grant Award.
